Elvis

Elvis is an almost 1.5 year old pup who is a bundle of joy and has been thriving in his foster home. He absolutely adores his foster doggy siblings — wrestling, zoomies, tag-team shenanigans… you name it, he’s in. For this reason, Elvis would love a canine bestie – a forever home with another playful dog who can keep up with his goofy puppy energy.

Elvis is still working on his potty training skills. His foster family works from home, so he’s used to lots of quick potty breaks throughout the day. A patient adopter who can keep up that routine or can provide a good scheduled routine will help him continue to succeed.

Elvis does have a sensitive tummy and due to this, Elvis must remain on a particular fresh-food plan. He also generally gets single ingredient treats. The good news? He LOVES them — and looks extra cute doing his “treat sit.”

Our handsome king also needs daily eye drops for his dry eye so annual visits to a veterinary ophthalmologist should be continued and will help keep his vision healthy. He’s a champ for his drops — especially if snacks are involved.

Elvis is a big softie who loves being around his people. He’s still learning how to walk confidently on a leash, but he’s improving every day.

He also discovered he can howl… and well… he’s VERY proud of that. He has a loud bark that he’ll happily use to announce “stranger danger” then go back to being a quiet couch potato once the threat (aka Amazon delivery guy) has passed.

When playtime is over, Elvis turns into a cozy snuggle buddy. He loves curling up next to you for TV time, and sometimes even joins in on watching your show with you.

Elvis is a truly wonderful dog — silly, sweet, and full of personality. He just needs an adopter who understands his special care, loves his quirks, and can provide a playful dog sibling and a stable routine.
