Muffin’s Story

Origin: Rancho Cucamonga Animal Center
Muffin is an exceptionally sweet Cocker-mix girl, estimated* to be about 7-8 years old. She’s cuddly, snuggly, affectionate, loves to go on walks, and loves being near her people! She’s housetrained – and cat-friendly too!

Separation Anxiety?

Muffin experienced some separation anxiety with her previous foster-to-adopt family. She is now in a foster home with two stable resident dogs. In this situation, Muffin is now exhibiting no signs of separation anxiety as she models the behavior of the resident dogs. She may look for her preferred family member when that person leaves, but with other calm dogs in the house, she quickly settles down.
Given what we’ve learned about Muffin’s temperament, we believe she would be best served in a home with at least one other calm, confident dog to guide her.
