Maggie’s Story

Origin: Long Beach Shelter
Maggie, aka Miracle Maggie, was as found in an alley in Long Beach, California. She was unable to walk with abrasions on her rear paws and her abdomen from dragging herself over asphalt. She was crying and howling for help when a Good Samaritan heard her and discovered her. Camp Cocker was notified and we took it from there.
An MRI showed a herniated disc was causing pain in Maggie’s back. Back surgery was recommended to eliminate her pain, and hopefully restore her mobility.
Without the ✨generous donations ✨ from Camp Cocker followers this would be the end of the story. Happily, Maggie’s back surgery was completed on December 24, 2017, and her mobility was recovered! A huge thank you to the Camp Cocker Village – for restoring life to our major medical rescues! ❤️
