WELCOME TO CAMP COCKER RESCUE, CORY!

CORY is an adult male Cocker Spaniel Freedom Flyer from South Korea who arrived in Los Angeles on 4/24/25 - joining Camp Cocker to find his new home!
Cory is estimated* to be about 8-9 years old, and is currently 2-3 pounds underweignt at 22 pounds.
WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT PUPPY MILL DOGS:
Cory was rescued from a puppy mill in Busan, South Korea.
Puppy mill dogs like Cory need very special adopters - patient people who will be understanding that potty training may be a very long learning curve.
Force-free training is the only way to go; these dogs are already so fearful, and they need kindness, not a dominant alpha approach.
These dogs will be extreme flight risks, so a home with no children is safer in terms of entrances and exits being 100% controlled by adults only.
Most of these more timid dogs will need a home with another confident dog to help show them the way. Typically, puppy mill dogs are dog-friendly.

Camp Cocker Rescue is based in Los Angeles and adopts out throughout the mainland U.S.. Out-of-state adopters complete the same screening process as in-state adopters, then travel to California to adopt in person. No steps of the adoption process are waived.
