This poor dog was breaking our hearts into a million pieces!

Our amazing rescue partners, the Cocker Friends Korea, put out a call for help for a painfully matted cocker spaniel who was mummified and found in a ditch! They had Apollo hospitalized at a 24/7 animal hospital where he was on fluids for severe anemia and dehydration. His bloodwork was not good at all, and his organs are a mess from starvation! He had open wounds on his head, and the infection was running through his entire body. He could not walk or even stand up because of the muscle atrophy of being mummified by his own fur!

We agreed to partner with Cocker Friends Korea to support Apollo’s medical expenses, and we committed to bring Apollo to Camp Cocker Rescue once it was safe for him to travel. Once he arrived in America, our lovely donors continued to help us provide Apollo with all the medical support he needed! It seemed like the whole world was pulling for him! And as you can see from his photos, his recovery has been miraculous!
