Benji’s Story

Origin: los Angeles North Central Shelter
Benji was abandoned along with Ellie (who was also rescued by Camp Cocker) by their owners, and held as evidence for 30 days in the shelter before we could rescue them.
Two days later, on October 17, Benji was diagnosed with bleeding and tumors around his spleen – and upon further exploration, a growth in his lungs was observed. His condition was inoperable, and he was at risk of an emergent and painful death. Euthanasia was recommended by the veterinarian. 💔🌈
