A Good Samaritan in Victorville reached out to us for help! After noticing a stray Cocker mix wander through her neighborhood for a few days, she took her in on Sunday only to discover that she was pregnant!

We quickly rallied a volunteer to help us and she made the 4-hour trip to retreive the mama dog in the middle of the night!  We named this sweet girl Betty, and set her up with a safe space to give birth – which looked like it could happen soon! We notified our veterinarians about Betty’s arrival so that they could advise us if any problems were to arise.

On Sunday afternoon, 2/18/24, Betty (estimated* to be 6-7 years old) gave birth to six beautiful puppies! Way to go Betty!
