Celeste (CeCe)’s Story
Rescue Date: May 15, 2024
Origin: Long Beach Shelter
CELESTE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!
Celeste (aka CeCe) is a beautiful young female Cocker Spaniel who was abandoned in a Petco parking lot. She ended up in the Long Beach Shelter where Camp Cocker was able to rescue her.
Celeste is very sweet, and very timid! She’s a high-energy girl who exhibits significant anxiety when there are changes in her environment (visitors, or anything new) or when she is out in public. Therefore she’ll need:
- A home with another confident dog to be her leader. She’d love a dog who will be a playmate and a cuddle-buddy!
- No young children – preferably a home with an adult or two, and a quiet environment as she startles very easily. In a quiet, calm environment she is very affectionate.
- A backyard where she can run & play in a home that is secure (she’s an escape risk) without shared walls.
*Please note that any age provided is only an estimate, based on veterinary examination.

CeCe has been thriving with confident Sandy by her side! If you have a confident, loving pup, CeCe would enjoy a companion in her new adopter’s home! Or, just a thought…adopt Sandy with CeCe!
