CORY IS PENDING ADOPTION!!
Cory is a super-sweet adult male Cocker Spaniel. He’s very friendly with people, mellow, low energy, affectionate, and loves to be pet.
Cory has dry eye and a corneal scar on his left eye and is non visual in his right eye. But that doesn’t keep him from being a great companion, whether at lunch or on walks!
Since he likes to hump new dogs until he gets to know them, he’s not a good candidate for dog parks. He also has a history of marking (thus needing belly bands) when co-habitating with other dogs. His current foster mom has no other pets, and Cory is not marking in her home!
Cory’s from a large puppy mill in Busan, South Korea who’s flown to Los Angeles and joined Camp Cocker Rescue to help him find his new home!

This wigglebutt completed his heartworm treatment and is on eye medication to manage his dry eye and glaucoma eye pressure. He has learned how a domestic dog gets to live after years of being in a cage 🙂

Heartworm Test Results

Cory has just tested positive for heartworm! He was previously treated in S Korea, but will now need to undergo another round of heartworm treatment, which will need to be followed up with an updated heartworm test.
