Dewdrop’s Story

Rescue Date: February 20, 2025

Origin: Santa Barbara Animal Shelter

Dewdrop is a sweet, friendly, female, tail-wagging Cocker Spaniel mix, rescued from the Santa Barbara Shelter.

Dewdrop is a lovely senior girl! Our vet estimates* her to be about 9-11 years old. She was rescued in need of a bilateral mastectomy, spay surgery, dental extraction for a fractured tooth, and an ophthalmology consult for an immature cataract in her left eye. Whew!!

The second half of her mastectomy and her dental extractions (two extractions were needed) are now complete, and she is feeling much better – which means she’s ready to find her new home!

*Please note that any age provided is only an estimate, based on veterinary examination.
