Henry’s Story

Rescue Date: February 1, 2025

Origin: Owner Relinquish / Originally from South Korea

Meet Henry, a sweet owner-relinquished Cocker Spaniel boy, originally rescued from South Korea.

Henry is estimated* to be about 8-10 years old, and is neutered & vaccinated. He’s sweet, gentle and friendly!  Here’s what else we know about him:

  • will flourish in a home with another dog
  • rides great in the car
  • is fully potty trained
  • doesn’t bark (was previously de-barked)
  • doesn’t chase squirrels or birds
  • is friendly with humans and other dogs
  • likes to snuggle with people – and will also chase a ball
  • likes walks and the beach
  • shares his toys and treats
  • loves enrichment games and is very food-motivated, which is helpful with training

Henry has some conditions that require routine medical attention. He receives glaucoma meds, and gets eye drops daily to treat dry eye. His chronic allergies and digestive issues will likely require ongoing management. He also sees a cardiologist annually. These conditions are not unusual for senior Cocker Spaniels, but prospective adopters should be aware of the additional time and expense involved in adopting this sweet senior boy
