THIS IS SIR RODRIK! HE WAS RELAYED BY THREE CAMP COCKER VOLUNTEERS - FROM THE SAN DIEGO HUMANE SOCIETY TO THE VCA SPECIALTY HOSPITAL IN WEST LA ON THE AFTERNOON & EVENING OF SUPER-BOWL SUNDAY!
This little guy, named Sir Rodrik by the shelter, is estimated* to be only 8 months old, and has signs of hepatic encephalopathy as well as lab work consistent with a portosystemic shunt. This will require a significant medical workup with an internist, likely to be followed by liver shunt surgery with a specialist.
*Please note that any age provided is only an estimate, based on veterinary examination.
