Spencer

Spencer is a male Cocker Spaniel rescued in South Korea as part of our partnership with Cocker Friends Korea (FKA The Cocker Moms). Spencer flew to Los Angeles to join Camp Cocker Rescue in search of his new home!

Spencer was rescued from the Busan puppy mill shut down in October – by our amazing rescue partners, Cocker Friends Korea (FKA the Cocker Moms). The cruel, filthy living conditions were similar to how a typical American puppy mill is run, truly heartbreaking! Over 600 dogs and multiple Korean rescue organizations showed up to work around the clock for 48 hours until every dog was removed to safety.

Though he just arrived, Spencer’s foster mom already has good things to say about him!

“Spencer is the dream! He seems to be potty trained (except for marking). He is wearing a belly band indoors. He is a Velcro dog, always following me. I stepped on his paw by mistake this morning because I didn’t notice how close he was. He is deferential to the other dogs. He is afraid to cross the threshold at the sliding glass door and so I leash him to encourage him to cross it. He needs another dog in the home to model confidence but he is more looking to bond with people.
