Sandy’s Story
Rescue Date: August 2, 2025
Origin: Animal Resource Center – Ontario, California
Sandy was rescued on 8/2/25, from the Animal Resource Center in Ontario, California, with three puppies (one female and two males) in tow! Mama & puppies had just been surrendered. The call was urgent! At the time of their rescue, the puppies were just a a couple of days old with an estimated DOB as 7/31/25!
They are all now happily thriving at Camp Cocker Rescue!
Sandy is very sweet! She’s trusting, not guarding, and lets us handle the puppies. At 15 lbs, she appears to be normal weight, Her age estimate* is 4-7 years old.
Sandy is affectionate, friendly, moderate energy, and playful! She will thrive in a home with dogs & a fenced yard. She is very friendly, but is also an escape artist who can easily manage slipping through a crack in the door, and jumping over kiddie gates and low fences. She should not be in a home with children who may not be able to moniter her to prevent her from escape.
