Sandy’s Story
Rescue Date: August 2, 2025
Origin: Animal Resource Center – Ontario, California
**SANDY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!**
Sandy was rescued from the Animal Resource Center in Ontario, California.
This sweet, delightful little girl is affectionate, friendly, and playful! She will thrive in a home with a dog or two & a fenced yard, and will do well with active adults who can provide her with exercise and mental stimulation.
Sandy is also an escape artist who can easily manage slipping through a crack in the door, and jumping over kiddie gates and low fences. She’s a high-jumper and super-fast, and should not be in a home with children who may not be able to moniter her to prevent her from escape.
SANDY IS PENDING ADOPTION!!
Sandy is so affectionate and curious! She will spring up directly from a standing position to get into your lap. And also from a standing position, she can spring up 4′ just to look out of a window! Scaling a 4′ fence is no problem for our little spring-loaded Sandy!
She also has a very strong prey drive – which means no cats, and no off-leash walks! Good dog-proofing around entrances and exits is a must, because when she wants to run after something, she is determined!
