Comfort, Dignity, and Love
Until the Very End

Not every dog we rescue is adoptable—but every single one is worthy of love, safety, and care. Some of our dogs spend their final months or years with us in loving foster homes, receiving comfort care, pain management, good food, and all the snuggles they want.

We continue to request donations to help provide everything our hospice dogs need, from vet visits and medications to cozy beds and gentle support.

Violet
Violet was rescued from the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter on January 17, 2017, then estimated to be 8 years old, and unable to walk due to rear leg paralysis and muscle atrophy. She was immediately taken to the VCA in West Los Angeles for a neurological consult and an MRI. Sadly, the MRI showed spinal cord damage that was too old to be surgically repaired.
